The main reasons and factors that make sea kayaking attractive in a specific area are:
Sea & Weather:
Sea & Weather reports on the past 5 decades in the South Coast of Turkey show that the sea water temperature has never fallen below the average of 16.5 deg C (62 deg F) and the average air temperature has never fallen below the average of 17 deg C (63 deg C) on the coldest days of the region in January and February. During spring & summer sea temperatures will go up to an average of 28.5 deg C (84 deg F) and the air temperature will go up to an average of 33 deg C (92 deg F).
Regional attractions:
Besides the beauty of the coastal area, its secluded coves and a breathtaking shoreline; the area has a wide choice of attractions such as Roman & Greek ruins, nomad villages, hiking trails, mountain biking routes. This offers the visitor a good combination of things to do besides sea kayaking.
Prices:
Sea kayaking prices in Turkey, compared to elsewhere in the world are very reasonable. In addition to that, the cost of accommodation, food and airfare is a lot cheaper.
Organization, safety, professionalism of the org, equipment:
